Tomorrow is “May Day”. The real, original Labour Day. Although we cannot have our annual May Day Bbq, the Guelph & District Labour Council is asking our members, union affiliates, and non-unionized workers to celebrate this day and advocate for all workers by taking part in the online rally. All workers united in SOLIDARITY!
The Guelph & District Labour Council will be observing the National Day of Mourning on Tuesday, April 28. Although we are not able to gather in person, we will be holding a virtual ceremony. Due to limited capacity, the link will be sent to our membership and special guests only.
The ceremony will be recorded and posted on our Facebook page and website for members of the public to view afterwards.
